VIDEO: Hubinette drifts the Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SuperVeloce
Sam Hubinette is one lucky guy. The Crazy Swede gets sideways in an 800-horsepower Dodge Viper for his day job and does occasional stunt driving in his off time. Last year Lamborghini hired him to drift the Gallardo LP560-4 in the streets of Los Angeles for a commercial, and they must have liked it so much that they hired him again to burn rubber in the brand, brand new Murcielago LP670-4 SuperVeloce in Germany. The video is the first we have seen of the car outside the show floor of the Geneva Motor Show, and while shorter than the Gallardo vid, it does at least provide a soundtrack for the upgraded V12 that's now producing 670 horsepower. Follow the jump to watch the video. Thanks for the tip, Saikou!

I wouldn't go that far.

Eh.. Too much emphasis on production quality. Way overkill. This video needs less soundtrack/sound effects and more of the actual car. Just clips strung together with way too much production value, I'd rather watch a youtube video taken from a pocket camcorder with no soundtrack and unedited.

I had the exact opposite feeling of Katech. The video seems like all flash and no content.

I liked it's composition. It kept me interested. Maybe its just because I'm such a big Lamborghini fan everything they do thrills me. I know raw videos show more of the car in action and I'm sure there will be those coming soon. This video was just very well put together in my opinion.

Sound mix was all wrong... That screaming engine would be goosebump-inducing if I could hear it clearly over the music. Hubinette is the man, but I wanted more drifting, less donuts. High-budget camera rigs to be sure, lots of coverage, super modern ADD editing. This was made by an advertising person, not an enthusiast.
...But damn, what a car.

Thats nothing, I've seen an 83 year old granny drift a Lamborghini Murcielago.

As if they needed to make an advert to make that car even more unbearably unbelievably desirable. Wow.

Why the music? I want to hear that fire-breathing V12 scream the whole two minutes, rather than compete with music or be cut off completely.

That was just ungodly. I'm calling Peta! That is just pure animal abuse.
P.S. Not sure about the muzzak selection. Not hard enough.

Sound track was annoying as hell. It was just the same sample playing over and over. Some DnB woulda been better with the ROAR of that beast being the main sound track.

Looks better in action (and in that dark garage) than it does in pictures or at a car show. Reminds me of the old Diablo GT here.

Was going to say the same, since you rarely see on moving, at least where I am, they are sexy whether sitting still, going slow or sliding sideways... Wait, sliding sideways is simply AWESOME. Must watch again.

A little too much Short Attention Span Theater for me.

I'm not convinced that's not cgi. Some of those camera moves aren't convincing.
