VIDEO: Turkish man miraculously survives train-truck-pedestrian collision
Every once in a while there comes along a story that's so incredible you really have to see it to believe it. Fortunately, the magic of the intertubes and some newfangled site called YouTube makes that possible with news of a potentially horrifying crash in Turkey.
Local trucker Cem Tokac was standing in the truck yard when a tractor-trailer passed beside him, evidently oblivious to the train about to T-bone the double truck right into the blindsided bystander. The train strikes the truck, the truck strikes Tokac and he looks like he's down for the count, but amazingly escapes with only relatively minor cuts and bruises from what could easily have been a fatal incident. The event was caught on two closed-circuit television cameras on site, so follow the jump to watch the video and see for yourself.

please keep up the good job of letting us know this very important fact.
It is a sad day knowing in this internet age, we autobloggers are seeing videos a day or two after other people with the internet. now i totally get the joke yesterday at the watercooler. they all saw this on liveleak, while i had to pretend i knew what was up...

xspeedy, thou art a sheep-shagger. please keep thine comments to thy self in the future.

It was on CNN.com last week. So it's not just LiveLeak that's had it for a while now.
Though I'm not sure what it has to do with auto industry news?

Not everybody watches liveleak (or cnn.com). Just because another site had it days ago doesn't mean everybody who reads this blog saw it. They can be two separate demographics.

Matt,
Yes, but this sort of thing isn't even meant for this demographic. Perhaps this sort of thing should be left to viral video sites.

You know it's a slow auto-news day when Autoblog has to make three 'news' stories about funny automotive-related videos from Youtube.
Please try and keep it down to just one a day, okay?

Thank (your deity) he was wearing his helmet. At first I thought the white helmet was his body flying.

You do realize that autoBLOG is not equal to a News company, correct?

Saw this last week on the news, but it's still scary. I LOL'd when he said he realized how short life was, and that he was marrying his fiancé asap.

This is about the equivalent of walking on water. XD
Good lord that was a horrific accident, and quite rightly a miracle that he survived.
