One fun thing we discovered in the Aptera Twitter feed today was this photoshopped image of more Aptera 2es than even exist right now (give them a follow; good stuff. And feel free to add AutoblogGreen's tweets as well). Aptera says it "shows half of all of our pre-orders in one shot." If you've ever wished these things could actually fly, this traffic jam would be a fine time to have that option. Anyway, today's real news from Aptera can be found in our post from earlier today, we just wanted to share this pic.

UPDATE: The shot was created by ApteraForum member, HadleyRille. Thanks.

Looks like it's been rendered in a 3D program....look, all the cars are standing in perfect perspective. It would be hard to pull that off in Photoshop alone.

Just check the high-resolution image, the lack of polygons (smoothness) and some really-virtual-looking-aspects like the door sills and stuff look absurdly fake. It's not a shoop, it's just an half-baked render.

To those who want to make their own Apteras in whatever patterns, textures, scenes, etc they want, check out the customizer webapp:

        http://www.daughtersoftiresias.org/progs/customizer/

It uses the same 3d model.

It is John Knoll of ILM fame and is rendered in the new Luxology Modo 401 Beta using their instancing tech to do massive poly 3D renders without a huge rendering speed hit.

      I'll take the green one...

John Knoll also invented Photoshop with his brother Thomas.

      I'll take the white one.

      Cool picture!

I'd consider one, but not a fan of white......

        Oh Well.

Just think, the last time I saw that many electric cars in the middle of a desert, they were all crushed...

      That's not a 'shop, that's a 3D render. -_-
