Auction Action: Everything you need to start your own performance driving school

Now all you need is talent, or if you don't have any, you can at least teach others to drive as horribly as you do. Hurry to Indianapolis for the Saturday, February 28 auction of Track Attack racing school, and you could pick up some good stuff. There's seven SCCA spec racers, a fleet of go karts, a Ford Mustang that was a Champ Car pace car, a car transporter, motorhome, tools, lots of racing gear – basically everything but the track. If you can't make it to Indy, the auction will be webcast, as well. Teaching others how to drive not your thing? There's the makings of a racing team in there, or enough goodies to seriously boost the equipment in your workshop. It's a darn shame that the school is closing, but there's no sense letting any meat on the bones go to waste, right? Thanks to Kurt for the detailed tip.

If I was a wealthy investor, I'd buy all the stuff except the Mustang, buy the property of google guys house, buy about 20 Ariel Atoms, and make myself a great enterprise...

If you where as wealthy as that.... you would already have your enterprise. So no need for another one.
You would probably be like Jay Leno.

Um, could this racing school be going under due to the recession? I am not so sure we should be like "ha ha.. if you can't drive you can teach others with the assets of a company that did not survive the Great Recession".
Should we write comedy about failing companies? Letting folks know there is an auction could benefit those selling. Joking about it - no benefit.

Just Wondering
We're all motorheads here but what is the demand for racing/driving schools outside of us?

I think we're about it, I might head over to Indy, see if there's any good gear for sale.

The idea of teaching in a Mustang as apposed to a Fiesta really does appeal to me. However with some pupils I have trouble getting them to slow down so maybe not the best idea :o) Newbury driving school

Years ago, I was the Chief Instructor at Track Attack before I moved back to Canada.
Jeff P. the owner, was the worst human being I've ever had the displeasure of meeting and I'm so happy to hear that his business is toast.
If he had treated people fairly, he would have attracted better employees and maybe would have had a chance at survival.
Jeff, what goes around, comes around. (thankfully).
