VIDEO: Full version of second trailer for Transformers 2

A commercial for Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen aired during the Super Bowl last month that contained new footage for Michael Bay's upcoming release. At 30 seconds long, however, the ad was more of a teaser than a trailer. The actual theatrical trailer from which the commercial got its footage is two minutes 15 seconds long, and a sneak preview of it was published today on YouTube. The preview was captured using a hand-held video recorder of some sort, so the quality isn't that great, but we're working on finding a higher quality version. In the meantime, follow the jump to view the full preview that you'll soon be watching in theaters that features extended versions of the short clips we saw in that Super Bowl commercial.

Of a trailer no less, better be glad Dreamworks doesn't know you're redistributing their own ads!

I don't wanna ruin anything for anyone, but why don't the military powers in this movie shoot some missiles at these robots? Sure, these robots are advanced, but a Tomahawk missile still makes a big BOOM. And one cruiser holds dozens of them. And the US military alone has a LOT of cruisers, not to mention guided missile destroyers. Also submarines. And frigates.
I mean, that would be even more explosions, a Mike Bay staple.

In the first one they tried that but the Decepticons were so fast and could hide so well they never spent more than a second in someone's sights. The only "kill" was at almost point blank range and it took a disproportionate amount of firepower to take out something the size of a station wagon. I can't wait to see what the Constructor bots can do!
It's gonna be on like Voltron!

I'm actually looking forward to this movie, I hope its a little more catered to the adult audience but the first one was a good attempt of a old school cartoon remake and I cant say that about a lot of movies except for maybe Batman. Does anyone know what the transformer with the unicycle do-hicky on it? it reminds me of rat trap from beast machines..which sucked..compared to beast wars...which sucked compared to the original.

The main villains name is "The Fallen". He was an original member of the transformers.

No fallen refers to the fact that megatron is dead and is going to be revived. Not the original 13. I like the combiner!
Deeznuts420 12:41PM (2/18/2009)
no the fallen is the main villain, it almost resembles a dragon tbh

Typical Bay Special FX crap. Looks like he took old footage of Pearl Harbor and spliced it into this movie.

I'm just curious is there's going to be any mention of Unicron in this... Considering "The Fallen" was the first Transformer to join the side of Unicron instead of Primus, thus becoming the first Decepticon...
Who knows... we'll have to wait and see.

So more Transformers, less Humans?
Wait, I rather not have that answered. I loathe to wonder what auto terminology Megan Fox will get wrong next in this movie.

Wait, you mean Megan Fox had dialogue in the last movie? I don't remember her saying anything.

She'll definitely fu*k up some terminology... but I can assure you that most of us autoblogging dudes will be too busy admiring her... ummm.... acting skills. Yup, she acts.

I also want to see how they work in Shia's injured hand from his drunk driving accident.

Probably the same way they worked in Mark Hamil's injuries from "Corvette Summer" when he had to film "Return of the Jedi."
Shia will be attacked by a Wompa.
I hope Bay shakes the camera more in this sequel. An action movie is only good when you can't see what is happening in a scene.

I can't wait for the HD version of the trailer to come out on Monday :)
