I'll tell you what guys. I'm just going to pretend that one of the vehicles at Chicago 2009 is the "New for 2010" Ford Ranger, with the brand new 2.5 four-cylinder, Ecoboosted, getting 29 mpg, with a crew cab option and four-wheel drive four-cylinder configuration optional.
I'm also going to pretend that Chevy just released its sales figures and it's going to survive this recession, and that it's completely updating the Colorado and the Aveo, and it just today decided to release the Chevy Cruze this year.
And finally, I'm going to pretend that Toyota's about to release the production version of the A-BAT pickup, and they've completely restyled it, and now it's beautiful and it costs $20K.
Ahem. That said, although my automotive desires still haven't been fulfilled just yet, I like a bunch of what they've got here. The Taurus SHO is nice, I wish they'd complement it with the EcoBoost Mustang but I really can't complain. The Genesis is pretty friggin' nice looking, too. I'd definitely buy it over the Kia Forte coupe, when that comes along. Of course, I'm in a land of confusion regarding some of those specs, but after I looked at the price tag tonight, tonight, tonight, I think they're good with the price. I mean, it's so low it's like they're throwing it all away, but of course, when a bear comes in the room then you'll know that you're beyond the silver rainbow...
...OK, done with the puns regarding the name, I swear.
But seriously, they should hire Phil Collins to do the ads for the Genesis.

I'm confused (and somewhat sarcastic) ... isn't the CX-7 at the Toronto auto show?

Maybe they are in Toronto like the Mazda CX-7!

Sad when the only car that seemed worth a click was a Hyundai.
