Last week we showed you the 30-second version of Audi's Super Bowl commercial called "Chase". That's the one you'll be seeing repeated endlessly on TV over the next few weeks. The full 60-second commercial, however, just debuted during the big game and we have the whole thing for you after the jump. Witness action movie star Jason Statham travel through the decades in search of a suitable getaway car. Spoiler alert: He winds up in an Audi A6 with the brand's new supercharged V6.

In this case only I will not shed a tear for the rival BMW... besides the 1 second Miller High Life advert, this 1 minute, Audi ad was my favorite spot during SB-XLIII

What was the point of trashing the BMW? Anyone who watched the first Transporter movie knows that his car of choice was a 1999 BMW 7 series with a custom manual transmission.

The Euro-market E38 7-series was offered with a manual.

I like this. I love how he doesn't even bother with the ES.

Well, I have to say I agree with him.
"Ugh!"

Wow!
So Audi sorta gives props to M-B and BMW rivals, but totally disses Lexus.
Salted!

The best Audi commercial yet. The valet he takes the keys from is a good friend of mine. He's also Paco from Herbie Goes Bananas.

Nice,
Made me miss my 87 535is. I mean, I like my A4 avant, but that 535is was fun.

Realistically, would you even bother with the Lexus in that case? Yea, no, neither would I. Heck, I'd take the E28 over an ES even now.
Nice ad, as with all of the "Progress is Beautiful" ads, but really, I'd rather have a G37 sedan. (Different class, I know, but its actually pretty similar size-wise.) Or scrap everything and get a C63, haha.

Hahaha! I loved the Lexus bit.
Interesting to see it's filmed in Australia (The current day bit with the Aussie Ford Falcon)

I don't think it was a Falcon. I'm not expert, but I think it was a Granada or something- the car the EA was loosely styled off.

Ah yeah, on second inspection it looks more like a Tempo or a Taraus. My mistake!

The BMW scenes were filmed at the Long Beach Marina in frontof the Sea Port Hotel and the Audi scenes were filmed in the tunnel under Bunker Hill in downtown Los Angeles. It's the same location that Britney Spears used in her video where she's driving a Maybach. I love how many iconic cars were in this commercial, especially that giant Lincoln chasing the Mercedes and the goofy Pacer parked along the street.
