Porsche releases video of new 911 GT3, more photos
The 2010 911 GT3 might seem like more of the same from Porsche, but that's hardly a bad thing. The combination of a high-revving flat-six combined with excellent handling and boy racer looks has never been so appealing. Since its official unveiling yesterday, Porsche released even more gorgeous high-res photos of the car, along with a video of the new GT3 on track with legendary rally driver Walter Röhrl behind the wheel. Check out the new pictures in the gallery below, and watch the video after the jump.

Anyone know if there is a HD version of this video? At porsche.com they only have small formats.

Awesome! its looks just like the old one!
Anyone know if this one can't be driven on 99.9% of American roads too? Meaning there are TWO places on the planet where you can drive a car like this and exploit its full potential legally. Nice toy, but that's all it is.
Believe me, I love it. But unfortunately liberals have made it impossible to even have an ounce of fun in this country without it resulting in your insurance going up 27%, etc.
Its amazing given everything else going on, these cars are still sold. Seriously. Give it time. Libs will find a way to ban porsches.
There not truly happy until nobody is happy.

This has been your political propaganda message of the day

You're saying the fact that people can't drive 200+ mph Porsche's flat out on public streets is a bad thing?
Also, liberals are responsible for your insurance going up. This is something you said. Think about it, and then think about it some more, and maybe then you'll realize how silly that statement is.
I'll give your post one out of five Clarksons. Try again.

Where in the original Autoblog post does it mention ANYTHING about politics and going flat out on public roads?

Why is there background music - isn't that big flat six music enough?

The Porsche 911, a machine of timeless beauty and extraordinary capability. Why can't other AutoMakers take a lesson from them?

Timeless Beaty because they never update the look of it I presume?
Honestly, I LIKE the look of the 911, but I grow weary of any new Porsche, because they always look the same. There's no way for average joe blow car lover (aka not porsche fanatic) to tell the difference between them if you see one on the street aside from looking at the badge.

They must have rushed the photo shoot... this thing is supposed to have a 4.0 liter flat-six and the wing says 3.8 on it!

Give me the keys! (And some driving lessons, I still wouldn't approach a 911 without some proper training, JIC)
And Walter Rohrl is a damn good driver, the rally background really makes this video amazing!
