Forum Thread of the Day: "Ticket for going too slow"

If you're looking for a good, amusing read, head directly to OrlandoForums.com where hilarity has unfolded at the expense of one particularly dumb street racer and "Honda Enthusicit" who used the website's "Ask an Officer" section to inquire about how to fight a ticket for going too slow.
Unfortunately, the genius in question couldn't resist bragging about how he had been street racing when pulled over going around 90 miles-per-hour, and that after a long traffic stop, the officer wound up citing him for driving too slowly. Racerboy then noticed a discrepancy on his ticket (the posted limit was not the same as what he was cited for), which he figured he could fight in court and maybe get off totally scot-free. Because not getting busted for street racing wasn't enough. Cut to post number 4 on the thread: the "Ask an Officer" response from user M Davis, a local police officer, falls into the category of "priceless" and the OrlandoForums thread is spreading like wildfire to enthusiast forums all over the place. 28 pages and counting.
Hondaej2nr, the original poster, is not the most popular guy in Central Florida at the moment. Thanks to Jared for the tip.
Note: We've pulled the OrlandoForums thread links because the forum crashed (sorry, guys). The hyperlink above is a Google Search link. From there, you can check out any number of other forums that picked up the thread.

I was browsing along fine when I saw this story a minute ago, but it seems like it's toast now. Can't get to pg 5.

I think it's officially official: their site has crashed.

haha. I finally got one of my "tips" posted. Too bad Orlando forums died... the story was too funny to resist. Even non-car forums like www.pbnation.com and some computer hacker forums were in on the action. One of the Orlando Forums guys said if you google'd "ticket for driving too slow" It was number 4 on the list.

This reminds me of a little gem of a movie quote:
"Motorcycle Cop: Tell me, officer, do you have any idea how fast you were going?
Mike: Well, I got a 426 hemi here, 3/4 cams, nitro boosters, I can get 'er up to as good as 155! Never do, though, of course, unless I'm chasing a cute chick in a Ferrari! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I guess I was goin' about... 65, tops.
Motorcycle Cop: SEVEN! SEVEN miles an hour! And normally, when I stop people, they pull onto the *shoulder*! "
Chris Farley, from the movie Black Sheep.

M Davis (The Cop) Disclaimer - this is assuming you were the moron racing on John Young past Walmart (near the roadside crosses where those 3 girls were killed in a street racing crash). If not, then I had someone just as idiotic do the same thing.
You just don't understand a break when I give you one. Please take me to court so I can print this out and show the judge.

uh huh, so HEEE gets a break but IIIIII can't get a break doing 48 in a 40..thanks police.
If I were a cop I'd pull him over just for being a dumb teen in an ugly car

Deputy M Davis also has a Barney Fife avatar. :)

HAHAHAHA!!!! PWNED by the police... damn what are the chances that you are gunna post on some obscure blog and the cop who answers was the one that pulled you over. I dont know if this kid is stupid as much as the unluckiest SOB on the planet. But I guess in the end, the kid is still lucky that all he has to do is pay a $250 ticket and probably another $100 or so for traffic school. When I got a ticket for going 95 (It was on the freeway at 3 am... not street racing...) I had a $400 ticket and I had to go to 2 day traffic school ($220) thanks to a judge who did not like my excuse "But it was 3 am...." hahaha.
