There aren't enough police in some areas of Nigeria, so vigilante groups have formed to take up the slack. When vigilantes in Kwara State saw two men trying to carjack a Mazda 323, they went after the baddies. One of the men escaped, but the other man, cornered... um, how do we say this... turned himself into a goat. (That's the actual goat/suspect pictured.) Even as a goat, "he" was apparently just as easy to catch, and the vigilantes took the goat to the police station.
According to Reuters, a police spokesman said "We cannot confirm the story, but the goat is in our custody. We cannot base our information on something mystical. It is something that has to be proved scientifically, that a human being turned into a goat." Yet according to Nigeria's Vanguard newspaper, which first reported the story, a police spokesman "said the goat 'armed robbery suspect' will not be left off the hook until investigations into the case are concluded." We will wait for justice to do its thing, but this comes as no surprise to us - everybody knows that goats love Mazdas.

In other news, the 323 turned itself into a Nissan GT-R right before the police's eyes and the goat used launch control to make the great escape.

And we're not supposed to judge other cultures? A GOAT!?!?
The whole story is fishy. I've been to Nigeria and while there's a surprising variety of beliefs, they're not gullible enough to believe what the story indicates.

So do goats get the right to a fair trial in Nigeria, Beu, since you are apparently Nigerian? Or do goats just go execution style in the street like armed robbers and gays do? Nigeria sounds like a wonderful place, but I think I'll stick to developed countries where weird Jank like that doesn't happen.

You could actually use this story and heading as your next screen play..But the most important thing to do is remember to untangle your panties first..or thong.. or whatever the hell you're into.
Andre, you are the one than need to untangle your panties. Just because they are superstitious dosen't mean they are uneducated. My time spent in Nigeria opened my eye to a lot of things y'all in the western world would not believe till you saw with your own eyes. Trust me, if there is one place where anything is possible, It's Nigeria.

One day on my way home I saw a bunch of Armed robbers being caught by police, One of them was caught and the cops tried shooting him execution style on the head, the Guns's kept going off but nothing was happening to the dude, I'm telling you this was at point blank range in broad daylight. 3 cops came and tried but not one bullet could actually hit this dude, It's really hard to explaining it but he kept chanting in this wired voice. They had to take him away, I asked my driver why and he said a native or witch doctor had to perform some incantations on him before he could be killed.

Trust me, it sounds like a movie till you actually witness it first hand, if you didn't believe that there was a God and The Devil...you will after that.
My time spent there made me learn that, when you think you know everything....trust me, you're just a wise ass that dosen't, only a fool has an explanation for everything.
No, you need to get your head out of your ass, It's obvious that the vigilante group that arrested/capture a GOAT suspect need some education which I was talking about in the first place when I made the comment. So don't get your panties in a bunch, sheesh..
Fool, You really need to get an education before you say something to disgrace your species further, look it up, Nigerians In the United States have the most numbers of Phd's, Masters and Bachelors than any other foreign groups in The US. In Nigeria even a truck driver has a First Degree, if you don't have a Masters, no one will employ you. Your First Degree is as good as toilet paper. Hence the Nigerian Scam where fools that really are uneducated as you are deceived into thinking that you can make quick millions from your dead relative that left you millions from Jobless Nigerians with Education.

If you try pulling your head outta ur arse every now and then, you just "Might" learn some new facts about the world every now and then...emphasis on the "Might"
