Fly like a Hawk in Alex Hodge's single seater

We don't have anything against the T-Rex, but... you can keep it. Whenever we enter the market for a three-wheeled vehicle, we'll take this baby designed by New Zealander Alex Hodge. A fiberglass shell rides on an alloy chassis that connects the three wheels. For motive power there's the heart of a Honda RC51 sportbike, and the 10,000 rpm, 120 rear-wheel-horsepower would give the thing a theoretical top speed of 145 mph. When it's red light time, disc brakes are fitted up front and double-up in the back. Sure, you can't buy it yet, but we're not looking for a trike at the moment, either. And we can wait. So Alex, get to work, please...

That car really is tight!!!

YEAH!!! So tight, that the only thing you could POSSIBLY improve on would be to give it an electric motor instead. You could give it a more flashy name, too like "ZAP ALIAS". Yeah. Wouldn't that be nice?

I thought the front end (which would be half of this thing) looked exactly like a Lambo. Still pretty slick, but ill be there is Lambo inspiration.

I guess I am alone based on the comments above, in thinking that this thing is off-scale-high weird.
Not the three wheel premise, but the styling and execution, certainly.
But then again, for a three wheeled vehicle, I would go much, much closer to a motorcycle than a car.

Its cool for sure, however, it also doesn't exist. Its a computer model. Now if he can find somebody to actually design and build it (he just does industrial design), that would rock.

Let's see... No bumpers, wipers or mirrors, illegal height lights, zero rear vision. Typical study hall concept. I want one.

It would be classed as a motorbike so most of those limitations would not apply.

All it takes is one state to require the equipment....

This looks like a chopped-off RX-8 with the rear tapered and the front-end more stream-lined.
Oh, and I like it.
