If the picture above is any indication, the 25 Hours of Thunderhill could be called off again before the day is through. After several minor contacts on the back section, including one car that left the track but couldn't be seen by either the safety crew or the other drivers, track officials pulled out the yellow flag to extricate the car and revaluate the fog. After the pace car led the pack for a few laps, the green flagged dropped and the racing resumed.

As of 8:15 AM, the leader board is as follows:

1. #70 Team Trimex/Fall-Line Motorsports - 2005 BMW M3
2. #98 Team Larry Miller Racing - 2007 Ford Mustang – 12 laps behind
3. #16 Team Dreams Motorsports - 2009 Honda Civic – 13 laps behind
4. #6 Team RP Motorsport - 2008 Ford Mustang FR500S – 13 laps behind
5. #29 Team Mazdaspeed/Team MER 2 - 2006 Mazda MX-5 – 13 laps behind

If you're looking for the results of a particular team, let us know in comments and we'll get you the details in quick order.

UPDATE: The live timing page is back online!

They said the race was finished, then it said "warm up"
and they seem to still be going. What is warm up???

I set up a mirror of the T&S page in case it gets slow again...
      http://pdc.thenobot.org/25hr.html

NASA web folks -- it polls the official server for the JSON data no more frequently than every 45 seconds, so it shouldn't be much of a burden (less than a quarter of the burden of one person sitting on the official page, since your page reloads the data every 10 seconds). So far at least 110 people have used the mirror.
Thanks for the mirror -- I underestimated the popularity of the live feed (we've been sitting between 2 and 3mbps on the JSON feed alone).

Won't make this mistake next year (and I'm going to beef it up to break the data out by class, etc).

Can you give me an update on how many cars are on the track right now? Specifically if Team Pfadt, #90, is still on track.

Could you give me an update on Pfadt #90?
Thanks for updates, it has helped to keep up with this from a distant. I am new to this race, and needed a bit of an explanation for how they will figure out when to end the race since they had the red flag delay earlier. Looking for a guess or estimate when it might end?
The race will end at 3PM PST.

We won't hit the full 25 hours of racing time, which is unfortunate.
