More Spy Shots: Noble M600 caught in full view

Click above for a gallery of the Noble M600
Last month, shooters caught the new Noble M600 undergoing testing at the Firebird Raceway in Arizona. According to reports, the M600 was joined on the track by Noble's benchmark vehicle, a Porsche Carrera GT. The crew at RacersWeb.com found themselves at the same track at the same time as the M600, and unlike the previous pics shot from the grandstands, these newest images get us up close and personal with Noble's new 600+ hp, twin-turbo'd V8 supercar.
The exterior hasn't changed much since we brought you the first round of "official" and unofficial shots earlier this year, but the front bumpers vents and ducting are in clear view, as is a new Noble badge that drops the oblong yellow logo for a simple crown design. The engine bay reveals the M600's Volvo-sourced powerplant, but all the interesting tidbits are hidden deep inside. Compared to past models, Noble spent some serious coin on making the interior a nice place to toil away the hours around town and on the track, with acres of Alcantara, contrast stitching and beautifully crafted knobs, stalks and switchgear.
We're hoping to see the Noble M600 officially revealed early next year, but in the meantime, get an eyeful in the gallery below.

A Volvo motor??? Maybe Nobel will buy Volvo, only 6 billion. For some reason to me it looks like it should be a kit car.

Looks very crude and kit-car like, but I suppose Nobles are not meant to compete with Lamborghini and Zonda in terms of appearance. You can't see the car when you are driving it, anyways.

I'm sure it has nothing to do with them selling the cars AS KIT CARS in north america to avoid crash regs :). With the noble, it doesn't matter, there are very few cars on the road which are as enjoyable or quick to drive.

the headlights look very clumsy and the car lacks much-needed design details and fine definitions.

The license plate looks like the answer to a knock-knock joke

I think it should be dubbed "The Fly-Swatter."

Its not about looking too pretty, its about doing what it needs to do fast and having a mass of fun along the way, thats the noble way. Interesting to see the Volvo engine rather that the Mondeo engine used in the previous models.
My dad nearly bought a noble m10 (a 1 of 7 convertible prototype before they came out with the m12 convertible) wish he has of, was rather cheap at the time.

Racersweb didn't stumble upon the Noble. We drove the M600.

I don't know what car you are looking at.
I clicked through the gallery and thought "damn that is a hot car." A little rough around the edges maybe, but this is no production version. I think it'll be a fine example of sexy-but-badass in the near future.

Looks like a combination of Lexus LF-A, Saleen S7, Noble M12 and Maserati emblems and interior design.

Shouldn't they bench mark the Zr1 since it spanks the GT?

Love it. A lot of new cars look over-designed. This doesn't. It does look like a bit Mad Max. That's not a bad thing at all.
If i had the money i'd get one.
