Fastest Man Alive gets dream drive in a Ferrari

Click above for a high-res gallery of Usain Bolt and his F430 loaner
Usain Bolt now wears the mantle of Fastest Man Alive having set world records in the 100 and 200 meter sprints at last summer's Olympics in Beijing. Fitting then that he was placed in one of the fastest cars in the world recently to take a stroll around one of the richest places in the world: Monaco. In the principality for the IAAF awards, Bolt was given the keys to drive an F430 along portions of the F1 circuit in the city. You can check out the gallery of high-res photos below while we wait for word on if he set any world speed records in the process.

Fast yes, but arrogant as hell. Chicken or the egg first situation in regards to that, I suppose. He's taller than I realized...

LOL. A lot of people say he's arrogant but I don't think so... but then again I'm Jamaican so I can't say I'm not biased. Even so, he's definitely nowhere near as arrogant as Maurice Greene was... I've yet to see an athlete who is.

I dont care.. He can be as arrogant as he wants, hes the fastest man EVER.
Beastage 6:36PM (11/26/2008)
Ya he is still tall , I was reading about him before the Olympics but never actually seen him on TV... the moment I saw his physique , I knew he going to smash the world records.
He has perfect body for a sprinter.
John Graham 6:47PM (11/26/2008)
It comes with being a sprinter.
McLovin 11:48PM (11/26/2008)
I can't blame him for his arrogance.... He is very young and has already broken many world and olympic records. He seemed nice and gracious enough when being interviewed by NBC after he broke all those records.

Is it really being arrogant when you can back it up anytime there is 100 or 200 meters to spare?

I doubt he broke any speed records, considering the speed limit along the entire course is 25mpg and they have speed bumps every few feet.

You, my friend, are an idiot. Because I'm sure he's only allowed to get 25 miles per gallon on the track because of speed bumps... good thing you know what you're talking about.

He should have done his trademark pose in the car. I like a little arrogance in sports, it makes it fun to watch. Reminds me of when Tiger Woods was making his mark and people would complain about his arrogance when he pumped his fist in the air. If it wasn't for either man's exuberance, I wouldn't know either of their names.

That's cheap. Thought Ferrari would let him have the F430.

Exactly.

As a middle- and long-distance runner, I'm surprised at how much Mr. Bolt held back in each of his gold medal runs.
My running buddies and I (all of us are engineers) threw down some math on beer-stained napkins and figured he is simply waiting for the next round of championships. He can't play all his cards at once, you know...
Anyhoo, I don't see how can can really fit into an F430. Not that that makes much of a difference - stuff me into one of those and I will be more than happy.
Makes me wish I was back on the track... either one, actually.
