Click above for a photo gallery of the JDM Cube in the wild

The redesigned 2010 Nissan Cube will be unveiled in the U.S. tomorrow at the LA Auto Show, but Nissan's boxy little wagon is already making its way to Japanese showrooms, as evidenced by these shots of a transporter loaded with them. What you see here is what you'll see in LA tomorrow, only with one major difference: we'll get a reversed version of the car's asymmetrical layout. Stay tuned.

Ok, I finally figured it out, this looks like a car from Wow Wow Wubsy.

      Quick, cover it back up!

Another example of hideously ugly Nissan styling.

I like it and it sure is different. Will this be better than the Kia, maybe, but I feel Nissan is still a better company.
The "contrarians" might also change their mind once they seen it up close.

      Great Job Nissan!!!!!
      I love Japan too.

I like the blacked-out A pillar on the silver Cube... should provide yet another alternative to the current boxes arriving to market. I'll let the driving dynamics and interior ergonomics determine whether this is a good box or not. None of the boxes in this segment are what I would consider "handsome" or even mildly "attractive" so I'll just go with "fun" and/or "useful" and see how it does.

The silver model is actually the older version of the Cube. I think it's one of the later model years of it, maybe '07?

The Chevy HHR looks even better.

I like the original xB and find the new Kia Soul very appealing as well, but this Nissan fails on execution. Conceptually it should be a hit, but damn it's ugly. Quirky may be cool for a couple of weeks, but eventually that box in your driveway is going to reveal itself for the eyesore it really is.

I liked the 1st gen Scion xB (not the current gen), and I like the previous Nissan Cube (the one with the older front end but lightly modified rear). I like this one too, but I liked the old model's headlights better.

I actually like it. It's definitely unique.

Anyone else see the 370Z peeking out from behind it in the second photo?
