SEMA 2008: Drag-racing limbo truck confuses, amuses

Click above for high-res gallery of this really low drag truck
How low can you go? When we first walked past this booth at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, we thought the convention hall floor had turned to quicksand. We are in the desert after all. Then we figured out what we were really seeing: a completely slammed truck that could win just about any quarter-mile limbo contest. It's literally knee-high to a grasshopper and powered by an Apollo rocket. Draggers, Inc., Go-EZ and Air-Zenith all share responsibility for this incredible piece of pickup passion. It's right-hand drive, lower than low and has one heck of a huge motor in it, and that's about all we know. Check out the gallery for a bunch of high-res pics.Gallery: SEMA 2008: Air-Zenith slammed pickup

It is so American design.

Most Americans use lifted pickups to go off road. They don't normally do this.
Plus, the design isn't even American. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but isn't that a Toyota?

I believe by American design he means the channeled body sitting on big rims with the huge motor. That is all very American. That is a Toyota though, you are correct. I like the right hand drive, it is a nice touch.

I have bought brand new Camry two years ago, because I thought I won't have any problems before car is paid of at least...after 55 K I hear some weird sounds in front...took to Huntington dealership...John tells me ..."If you want things to get checked, pay per hour to repairmen...and then we will see if warranty covers it..." I said...oh no it doesn’t sound it that bad.." because who knows what they cover....My car now has 60K and car is off the warranty...it's making very loud noises...it is for sure something wrong with the car...bearings or even axle...Moreover, I'm reading in the Toyota’s warranty policy "everything is covered!!! Before 60K" So my warranty is over...Toyota service always tries to full you!!! I'm shopping for another car currently...It won't be buying any Toyota’s in my life time I'm dam sure about it...These cars are not reliable anymore...give me a break 60 K That's it!!!? I have to spend most of the time in repair shop instead of driving....no way I'm buying crappy Toyota!!! And I'm not anonymous blogger...check everything you want...I have that brand new Toyota...but doesn’t drive it perfect how they advertize that crap on TV.. it breaks down very fast ant it's not reliable at all....It was very big mistake purchasing Toyota....!!!

ok.... so what does that have to do w/ the article?!

1. You are off topic
2. Any dealer of any manufacturer would have told you the same thing. There's a chance it would have been covered, but they aren't going to let you have the chance to stiff them on the time spent inspecting it if you decide not to have it fixed if it wasn't.
3. It was dumb to wait and let the car go out of warranty.

With a power dome hood to cover the blower and a set of slicks, this truck would be the SLEEPINGEST vehicle this side of a time-traveling DeLorean

Dumb as ****.
Either it's a Low-Rider, or it's gonna be burning rubber. Chose one and build on it!!
