Porsche Boxster/Cayman facelift leaked?

The team at Autoweek.nl supposedly snatched a few images of the facelifted Boxster and Cayman from Porsche's configuration page, revealing a slightly revised set of headlamps and air intakes, along with restyled LED taillights inspired by the 2009 911. But what's mounted amidships is far more important.
The 2010 Porsche Boxster and Cayman will go on sale next year, rumored to be powered by a new 2.9-liter engine. The standard models will be putting out approximately 265 hp and 222 lb.-ft. of torque, while the S-equipped line will feature the same engine equipped with direct injection. Output is reported to swell to 320 hp and 274 lb.-ft. of torque, with power being sent to either a six-speed manual or Porsche's new PDK dual-clutch gearbox.
Expect more details to be revealed next month.

Greg - try driving a Boxster.
My guess is you'll be flat out amazed how incredible that car is to drive. I traded my 2005 Boxster S for a 2006 911 S and I miss the hell out of the Boster. Doesn't have the same speed as the 911, but the driving aspect of it was more fun. Many Porsche owners share the same thought.

You obviously didnt see the 09 carrera changes then. Its a mid model refresh, not much is changing but the really exciting part is the direct fuel injection and the pdk (not that I'd take it over a 6spd).
Looks like they just revamped the head lights and tail lights. Pretty meh but the headlights when they arent blurry should look nicer. I've been waiting for this announcment, now if we can only see the new turbo and GT3 facelifts.

The front end cant be a face lift ....it looks like the first gen headlight which were changed to the more circular ones and now they go back to the previous style? lol

wow, they are really stretching putting out new cars that you have to break out a man magnifying glass to tell the difference. I mean, its cool they went to all LED lights, but come on, the Boxster looks the same as the First 986 models except for the front bumpers and lights from the outside.

They should have left the Cayman alone. As for the Boxster, it needs a complete restyle, not just a facelift. Its styling is dated.
