"Where we're going, we don't need wheels." Those weren't quite Doc's word at the end of the first Back to the Future movie, but they would've been, had he seen the Mitsubishi MMR25 (above, right), which has those bizarre, um, things instead of wheels. The MMR25 is part of the motorsport design challenge that is coming to the LA Auto Show in a few weeks, and the contest features some crazy fanciful vehicles. In a more serious vein, is Ford right that hybrid trucks are just a publicity stunt?
