Click above to watch the next installment of Meet the Beckers

We're only two episodes into Audi's "Meet the Beckers" viral video series, and we're already big fans. Last time Audi boldly ripped on the competition from BMW, Lexus, and Mercedes with jabs to the brands existing stereotypes. This time, "Beckers" episode two focuses its comedic wit on the owner of "The Ultimate Driving Machine." The Affable Audi driver rips the Bimmer for being purple, which is met with the response, "It's Laguna Seca Blue." Our protagonist then asks if the BMW owner if he even knows what Laguna Seca is. Hit the jump to hear his response, along with the rest of the webisode. Thanks for the tip, Khanh!

You're welcome everyone =) I wonder which brand they're gonna make fun of next..

This is so hilarious... They get the BMW stereotype DEAD ON... I would know because my brother used to drive a blue 3 series, drive it like it's a ferrari, he's short, he's a douche, he thinks women of all ages are hot, and he dated a slut who was actually book smart...

      Audi rules! Keep em coming!

      I like this one better.
It seems to hit the stereotypes better this time around.

Audi is a good car, but Audi NA sucks. They're launching the A4 with nothing but a slushbox like it was a Buick or Merc for old men, and there is no sign of them ever offering the manual for the V6 or the Avant in 2009 MY. I have a 2006 A4 Avant manual that I just bought off the lease for because they had no car to sell to me - drove the new car and the 'superior driving dynamics' couldn't overcome driving around in slushie. They won't even let you factory order a stick for the love of god!

i agree with you that it's a problem that they don't have enough manuals. but let's be serious. how many americans are going to buy an avant with a manual? a couple hundred across the country?

i'm with you, i will only drive manuals, but their margin is not high enough on those cars to cover the cost of getting them approved for the US market. most americans think avants are "mommy station wagons" and wouldnt be caught dead in one... they prefer driving "CUVs" or "SAVs"...

Yeah, well they've never met an RS4 Avant! Unfortunately we don't get that either... I guess these guys think a slow rolly polly Cute Useless Vehicle with a slushbox is somehow more manly than a real car with a stick -mommy's drive crappy minivans, while we use Avants to transport our biking gear, kayaks and the like.

the best part is that w/o BMW, Audi would have never stepped up its game.

smart advertising campaign from a company that cant outsell BMW based on the merits of their cars.

this is kinda like McCain bashing Obama for being a better candidate.

"smart advertising campaign from a company that cant outsell BMW based on the merits of their cars."

I'm big BMW fan from way back but I think you are short selling Audi. Have you ever had one? Audi sales has not just picked up because of their advertising.

"this is kinda like McCain bashing Obama for being a better candidate."

Politician instead of "candidate" neither are good candidates no matter how brainwashed their followers are.

also, Audi far outsells BMW in its home market of Germany. so your point is really not valid at all...
Just because people don't realize Audi makes better product than BMW doesn't mean they don't.

So true about the "stop for pedestrians" and "avoiding vehicular manslaughter" comment. I almost got ran over by a 6-series today while walking on the sidewalk (he was pulling into the a parking lot).

      "why are you behind her?"

      HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Keep it coming Audi. Where is Volvo!?!
Yeah, "Why are you behind her?" Isn't even funny, its her behind him... that's funny.

Watch it again, it's even better... it's not "why are you behind her?" it is...

"ooohhh, why is she behind you, dude?"

        Good times.

Volvo was too busy not being in the same demographic to join.

Somewhat amusing this time around. Stereotypical Merc, Lexus and BMW owners are pretty much nailed in this series, but I think Audi may be giving their patronizers too much credit for being so ostensibly normal. I've met some pretty douchey Audi drivers.

Would be interesting to see how they treat Infiniti (probably smoking pot and listening to Wu-Tang in the attic) and Caddy (hunting for moose?) owners.

      [I KID! I KID!]
