Most unloved BMW M6 on Earth

Some cars just don't get the love they deserve. Case in point: this burgundy BMW M6 sitting under what appears to be months worth of silt. Judging from the plates, the lonely 500-hp coupe is parked in Dubai where it has seen more than its share of days (and dust clouds), but nary a wet soapy sponge. Appearing in perfect mechanical condition, the filthy deposits on the metallic paint have attracted a handful of witty passersby, many of whom have written their comments in the grime. Our personal favorite? The classic, "I wish my wife was this dirty." Thanks for the tip, Vinay!

Man, with that much dirt... a seed might actually grow roots! ;)

@Gabagool
Well, not everything is in English but the reason why there's so much English is because many people in Dubai are expats from the UK or the US who are there to do business.
And people from other countries who go to Dubai also speak English so they can do business with everyone else. So pretty much everyone there can understand English while most expats probably don't understand Arabic.

Um... can't you get sent to jail for 2 years for saying or thinking something that involves "dirty" and "wife" in Dubai? I thought everything remotely fun or funny was illegal there, except supercars and flaunting excessive amounts of money? This is the place where a guy went to jail for having a rice sized amount of pot stuck in the tread of his shoe, isn't it?

Its dirtier than the McCain campaign! If Palin would comment about the car, she would say a terrorist owns it.

don't worry Azael if obams socialist party wins he will make sure that any wealth will be shared, thus making so americans can not have the money to own a m6

So its socialism to give tax breaks to the middle class who can barely afford food, muchless a mortgage?
What is it called when you give tax breaks to people soo rich that they dont appreciate what they have, like this M6?
Plutocracy?
I fought my way out of poverty, so I will gladly pay more taxes to help the less fortunate.
ZAMBONO 1:48PM (10/23/2008)
I second you Azael, I have with my sweat done well for myself and have absolutely no problem helping out those less fortunate. Oh yeah I am volunteering for Obama this evening.

That my friend was Hilarious. Nice sense of humor!!!!!!

Well, all men are created equal. Except rich men, which have an obligation to give a larger chunk of their hard work to those who are less motivated to better themselves.
That's what this country was founded upon. People being forced to help others, rather than people making their own way through society.
Oh, and I'm pretty sure the owner of this car is dead. You just don't 'forget' that you own an M6.
dave 2:04PM (10/23/2008)
Azael and zambono: I'm glad to help the less fortunate ... we all are. You are not an American hero for wishing this. The difference in my opinion and yours however is this: it is NOT the Governments job to force you to. Check the constitution.
notYou 2:20PM (10/23/2008)
Azael and zambono: then why don't both of you start cutting checks to the less fortunate instead of spending your time trying to put a gun to everyone else's heads to do it for you?
I have nothing but respect for people who help the less fortunate, but I have nothing but hatred for those that threaten me and my family with confiscation and jail through progressive taxation to force us to pay for those that _you_ deem less fortunate.
Azael 3:26PM (10/23/2008)
Dont get me wrong, I dislike the IRS as much as the next guy. I think the 10,000 page tax code books need serious reform, especially the taxes that place undue burden on working families from whom the wealth of America comes from.
The IRS is quite soul-less for threatning your family and im sorry about that.
I support fewer taxes for average Americans while making those billionaires with offshore accounts to pay their fair share. And lets not forget those oil companies whose greed have stranggled all of us this year. We need to tax the hell out of them, they did steal our hard earned money with their artificial prices and use that money to fix our awful roads and give hard working people like "NotYou" a break.

Pay their fair share? As in MORE than anyone else, not just in a gross monetary amount, but as a basic percentage of their wealth.
If I pay more taxes, percentage wise, I should get better treatment. I should get out of speeding tickets, maybe get a free pass on a couple accounts of insider trading. After all, if I pay more at a hotel (or anywhere else) I get better treatment.
But no, that would never happen, no matter how much I paid to the government.
And the oil companies, oh don't get me started on that. I just picked up my Wall Street Journel, and (surprise surprise) oil is at $67 bucks a barrel (this morning). Maybe, just maybe, the FREE (as can be expected) MARKET drove up the price of oil. Speculators drove it up, and now they're driving it back down. Oil companies never changed their output, never refused to provide oil, nothing. OPEC, however, is a different story, but have fun taxing them.
Christ Almighty. I know economics is complex, but it is really that convoluted?
dave 11:05PM (10/23/2008)
A REVOLUTIONARY idea!! Tell Obama and the liberal press immediately! Since B.O. and the media only mention oil companies when they talk about taxing the rich - leave the 'rich' alone and tax the oil companies (only) more. You heard it here first. I'm a conservative, and a McCain voter; but I don't like $400 mill bonus checks either. BYW: why then does B.O. not mention the amount of bonus that his chief financial advisor, and the then Freddie Mac CEO Franklin Raines, give himself? Double standard MR. Senator?
