Camo-less Panamera has Seoul, caught in Korea
The Panamera is doing development time in Seoul, South Korea. In a city where it seems everyone has a cell phone camera, it's no wonder that someone caught it on film. This time it appears to be wearing nothing more than a blue paint job and some pre-production panel gaps while filling up at a gas station. We know our opinion has swung on this car - first we didn't like it, and then we kinda did - but for now we're holding steady. It still looks better from the front than the rear, but this car is going to sell. Follow the jump to watch the video, and to our South Korean readers, there is a blue intruder among you, so please get him on video again and report to us... Thanks for the tip, Gabriel!

Well it certainly will let Pontiac off the hook for the Aztek.

LOL, so true!!
Porsche scared me when the Cayenne became a reality, but at least it looks decent. Are they capable of really trying to sell something this ugly or is it a fake with the real bodywork yet to be revealed?

Well -- They did also do the Cayenne .... and if Chrysler\Jeep can do a decent\not too ugly truck ....you see my drift. Styling is not a priority I would say :)

Wow, I never thought of it that way! (I'm not trying to sound sarcastic in any way.)
This still isn't doing it for me.
U-G-L-Y, you ain't got no alibi, you're UGLY!

MAN DOWN!

Wow, there is absolutely no elegance to that roofline, whatsoever. It looks like every other Porsche from the front with a bar of soap for a back-end.
The DLO graphic is blobby, and doesn't mesh with any of the other lines on the vehicle. It just looks utterly half-baked, like the designers just didn't care whether it looked good or not.

Captain Slow did a better job on Top Gear when he stitched together a Saab and an Alfa. This thing is hideous. There is no part of the design that has any continuity. I don't get how they even approved this thing.

"a descent engine"
Which it will use when it lands on Mars. :P

It's descent, all right... every time I see it my opinion just keeps going down, down, down.
Bluestreak 4:06PM (10/15/2008)
I really like the idea of a 4-door Porsche, but the execution was a complete failure.

Thank god Porcshe doesn't depend on this thing to buy VW...

I think there's actually more camo on the car than people may think. Looks like the entire car is wrapped so there may be 'more than meets the eye'. Plus, head and tail lights definitely are concealed to a certain degree.

Still very ugly no matter what, though.

Aston: massive success
Lambo: slight success
Porsche: massive failure.
