Today we bring you more video of the blind Belgian who recently broke the blind land speed record in France. Luc Costermans piloted a Lamborghini Gallardo borrowed from supercar rental agency GT Drive to 192 mph on the Istres airstrip, which is a pretty amazing feat, but one that's likely to be challenged by former world record holder Mike Newman. Although they aren't in English, we have several video clips of the event for you after the jump.

I don't mean to be Debbie Downer, but I think this is lame. Not too impressed. Flat out anyone can do this, blind, or with really any disability.
Now the "Blind Man" on Top Gear's reasonably priced car... now I give him props. That guy beat out two seeing people! I give that guy way more credit that this blind man.

Going fast in a straight line isn't very fun when you can't see anything.

Said same thing last time, pretty stupid, why not give him a gun and maybe a hot air balloon and we can applaud that?

The most impressive thing is that he was able to rent a car in the first place.

Yes, I can see it now... "Excuse me sir, may I please borrow your Lamborghini so that I can go flat out in it along a runway?"
"No way! I'm not going to let a stranger do speed runs in my precious Gallardo!"
"But I'm blind!"
"Oh, okay then! Here are the keys."

I wonder if the owner actually knew he was blind?
But anyhow, impressive feat of bravery, but if a blind man piloted by Jeremy Clarkson can lap the TG track in two minutes, this isn't that amazing
