VIDEO: Transporter 3 trailer #2 shows more Audi A8 co-star

Lionsgate has released the second trailer showcasing that buff delivery guy with the English accent, and if you thought Transporter 2 was an all-out sprint on the ludicrous side, wait until you get a load of the stunts in Transporter 3. It not only shows off more of Statham's body and his 1-liner prowess, it also shows off more bad dialogue, more absurd stunts, and more reasons why it's Crank but with a bracelet and an Audi. It will clearly be a movie where you put your brain down in the seat next to you and then load up on greasy popcorn and root beer with wide-eyed glee. But that doesn't mean we won't see it. Check out the trailer after the jump, and mark your calendars for November 26.

Well its definitely an A8 but its not true to the real A8. At the beginning we get a good shot of the grill and its a A8 (Presumably L) with the W12 engine. But it has the S line grill on it (Crome) along with the brushed Aluminum mirrors which are also an S line package, so its believed we have an S8 but with a W12 instead of the V10. So which is it really?
The other thing is we see it doing rear wheel burnouts which it cant do due to the full time Quattro system.

I thought flipping a car right at the opportune moment when a hook can scrape a bomb attached to the bottom of it was great......now jumping from train car to train car....that's it my next car is an A8.
Please tell me he only says "your fired" once.

I'm all for a minldess popcorn flick, but there gets to be a point where it just isn't fun any more to watch relentless, impossible feat renders attempting to one-up each other in it's-almost-possible-but-couldn't-really-be-done implausibility.
I bet the next movie that does car stunts without fx - I mean real cars with real-world physics doing real-world gravity defying tricks - will be a resounding success. Stuff like this has become just too much like watching a video game with a pseudo-reality tacked on for effect.

+1.
Ronin was the last good car chase movie.

Ronin has a superb Car chase sequence.
But the car chases in the "Bourne Trilogy" are a more recent example of old school car stunts.

@Cameron: -Exactly!
I remember I had such Fond hopes for the first movie, thinking it would basically be "Ronin" with "Turkish" as the driver.
The whole preposterous oil-snorting, worse than Jackie Chan, Kung Fu from a guy who's supposed to be ex-special forces, -yeesh!
And the scripts, which were clearly written in Chinese, translated to Urdu, then Farsi and then back to Generalized, non-slang, International English...
Could've been so good; -all of them. And they just sucked so bad. This one will be no different.

Sheesh...it's an action movie, and nothing more, and I've totally dug the first two and will definitely dig this one.
IMO, movies are s'posed to take you away from reality for a while. If I want to see "real-life physics" and "real-world gravity defying effects," well, there's always "World's Scariest Car Chases" on Spike TV.

Maybe the first, at least it wasn't totally silly, the second was just dumb... and it does look like they just keep getting worse

Totally. Jason Statham is awesome, and yes of course it'll be over the top. It's true action entertainment. Can't wait to get drunk and watch it. :D (probably rent this one though)

I can't watch the film... because the damn user interface won't let me turn the volume down. Roll over it, volume pop us. Ss soon as i go to turn it down it acts as if im roll off of it.

Yep. Really damn annoying.

Ok so it probably sucks and it may be awful as a piece of cinematography but I still wanna see it, just like the Dukes of Hazard who gives a damn about the story, just look at those car chase scenes, all my friends at the movie theater were like ¬¬ ... but I couldn´t stop watching with awe.

Ok, I like it. At the end, it is about 90-minutes fun, nothing philosofic... just entertainment.

Maybe if we're really lucky, we can watch the A8 transform into a Q7, like in Knight Rider when K.I.T.T. goes from Mustang to F-150. Sheesh

Sorry Autoblog, This is not another Crank, Crank had a definite vibe and feel to it and in that respect it is a much different movie.
