I don't see the point in taking the body of an iconic car and making it electric just for the sake of making it electric. You get 0 performance gains, not that much range and it's just futile when a Tesla will outperform it in ever aspect for probably less.
I think RUF would be better served designing something original. Sorry a sub 7 second 911 will never make it on my list of must haves... unless it was a 1964 original.

It’s simple marketing. Let’s not kid ourselves, how many people truly buy a Porsche for the performance numbers? How many people are taking it to the track? It’s all about image and brand recognition. There is certainly a market for someone who wants to drive a Porsche but then display (brag about) the fact that it’s electric. This allows someone to be seemingly hip and Eco-friendly at the same time. Beats the hell out of a Prius…
