Top Gear filming hour-long special in Vietnam

It looks like the Top Gear guys are in Vietnam working on an hour-long special. While we don't have any specifics, we do have some pics that popped up on Ausmotive. The Top Gear website isn't much help, cryptically telling us that the lads don't plan on shooting anyone, but they don't rule it out knowing that Jezza is there. Expect a challenge of some sort, probably involving something considerably slower than the American iron they sampled while Stateside, and of course lots of laughs as always. Thanks for all the tips!

Top Gear has always been an hour long so this is nothing special

I'm assuming they mean a full hour-long show as opposed to just a segment.

The sign on the right says car park, in this case you have to pay for some dude to watch over your car ;)

Awesome! I have always wondered what time a rickshaw would get around a track.

Well, he is sitting in democratic Vietnam wearing a shirt with a communist symbol.

He knows enough to keep his mouth shut until he leaves.

ITS SOOOOO SIMPLE>. notice in the BG... SCOOTERS..
now 2 ideas.
1. they are delievery men tat have to make sure the package is delieved .. using only the scooters.. [not tat funi but its top gear they make it funi]
2. [and i like this one] they have to make their way through vietnam using only the stuff in the boxes.. [i got this frm the pic in the rain and ter crushed boxes while sipping pepsi.. or wateva]
CANT WAIT!!!!

haha, I love Jeremy's shirt. I'm guessing plenty of commie jokes at the very least.
Should be pretty good! Of course the detractors will start saying they are commies, etc, but those are the same people that were "offended" by the American special.
Sometimes I wonder if instead of computers, most of my countrymen should be buying Kleenex to wipe up all the tears from all the whining and babying they do.

FYI, that is the communist vietnamese flag, booo!

Yea I know, which is why it is funny (I'm sure Clarkson will have plenty of jabs at the commies).

Love Jezza's Homestar Runner shirt.

That looks like "big 'ol fat rain" as opposed to "little bitty stinging rain".

seriously, clarkson should take at least as much care of his body and health than of his cars. a sportscar testdriver who is a symbol for blood pressure and heart diseases, an oxymo..

Clarkson doesn't care, which is an attitude most people could learn something from. He's a huge TV star, millions of people tune in to watch the show, and he tells people strait up, 'it doesn't matter to me'. I'm not saying we should all go out and get fat, but he likes who he is and enjoys what he does, that's the end of it. Makes pretty-boy racers look like the stupid ones, actually...ones who would rather get a photo op than a race win.

akboss, why is being unhealthy something we should look up to?
