Want the first Chrysler hybrid? Sorry, it's in the hands of a certain Lee Iacocca. More will be made, though, I'm sure. Whether people plop down their money for these big rigs is uncertain, though, especially when things like the smart EV, the Zero and the C-Cactus might be coming in the next few years.

What a wild irresponsible statement! Do you really believe anyone with the desire or legitimate need for a 7-8 passenger SUV with towing capacity are even looking at something like the 3 future small cars you mentioned -- or vice versa?
I can guarantee you, though, that their looking for such a vehicle with higher fuel economy -- not reduced capacity.

Also, the Toyota Previa's JDM counterpart, the Estima, had the Hybrid Synergy Drive system and a Diesel engine option as well. Swapping out thought....I've seen a few Estima Hybrids go for a pretty penny on some Japanese Car Importers sites.
