Ford teases 2010 Mustang's front fender, mirror

Ford is continuing its painfully slow unveiling of the 2010 Mustang with another new image showing the car's front fender and the rear view mirror. It could just be the angle, but the photo shows a more curvaceous hood line that dips down to the headlight more than the current design. Another difference is the fender, which flows from the hood to the wheel well in one smooth line rather than the current one that has a more pronounced and angular flare. Finally, we get another view of the rear view mirror, the top half of which is now painted instead of textured black. Like us, you'd probably rather see the whole car by now, but Ford has seven more teaser images to go before it unveils the car in Los Angeles in more than a month and a half. So, like us, you're just going to have to get used to it.

I wish they would just show the whole car.
Thus far, it seems to me that this is going to look a lot sharper than the current gen mustang, meaning more angular and aggressive. I'm excited.

I see test mules almost on a daily basis and I can tell you it's gonna look good. It seems like the changes are subtle but the whole entire package seems to be more "tight".
I would like to see the finished product but I am just glad Ford is not taking GM's approach with the Camaro and showing the whole car off (concept and production) for YEARS on end. It's already been a couple years since the concept came out.

So what's the mystery?
I mean, OK, some refined lines and curves, but it is the Mustang and J - no original ideas in my head, New Beetle, GT40 - Mays is in charge.
And, like I say... it's the Mustang.

It looks like the are going to make the car look more compact and taught. I like that path as opposed to the Challenger and the Camaro that both look kind of bloated. imho

Seems like Ford's really REALLY trying to keep some buzz flowing around its Mustang in order to keep people from buying Camaros and Challengers. 2010 is a long ways off, so I can't see the car hitting production until April next year - unless anybody else here has heard otherwise.

Ok it was fun for a while... but I am getting sick of the Teasers.. GM, Lambo, Citroen, Ford.. Its a tired gimmick. Is it me or does everyone use the same advertising firm..or none at all. I am sick of seeing a wheelwell or a tail light .. or a seat bottom... Its stupid, aggravating, and played out...

Car manufacturers though need to realize theres no genitalia on the car to keep the audience engrossed.
