Don't forget the "Powered by Chevy" windshield banners.

Don't forget the Calvin wizzing on a Ford logo sticker.

Better than a Calvin pissing on a Ford oval sticker... the OPTION to DELETE the butt-nasty, non bling, GOLD Chevy bowtie off the entire car!!!!!!!
YEAH!!! :) :) :)

At least the V6's are actually fast this time around.

HAHA. The only thing I like is the front spoiler and the floormats, everything else is thumbs down.

Hideous. Maybe if I was 12? But to those who can afford muscle cars and muscle car thirst for fuel, higher insurance, etc, aka ADULTS, the Mustang's and Challenger's clean lines are starting to look more and more appealing.
I stem from the more-is-less design camp where clean lines tightly wrapped around the cars hard-points and an all-of-a piece look is almost always preferable (rather than the tacked-on bits of bodywork afterthought sort of design).
Ill take my dream Camaro SS plain-jane thankyou!! :)

Then don't put these accessories on your car? Plenty of aftermarket garbage like this is available for the Mustang and Challanger.

great, parts to make a stupid car stupidier. what a waste of time, money, and effort.
Enough with the retro useless cars. Come up with something new.

Like Type-R badges on a 100hp Yaris?

I still don't get why people label this car as retro. It's thoroughly modern.
Retro is a CD player in a wooden art deco case.
The drivetrain, electronics, and suspension are all state of the art. The styling has nods to the past... but then so do the Vette and 911 and no one calls them retro.
This is a new car whose history is reflected in its design.

Shipey: Its not PURE Retro like the Challenger & 90% Retro like the Mustang... but the Camaro is RETRO. GM's Design honcho Ed Welburn has said as much.
His 69 Camaro was brought into the studio as inspiration for his Design Staff

The best of all worlds.. a great retro design made with state of the art materials and engineering. Sounds like a winner to me. I've owned 2 Camaros and believe a third is in my future.

Vette's and Camaro's should never have a rear wing. A lip spoiler looks good, thats about it.

They have a blade Spoiler. It looks pretty cool.
3seriesisking 3:02PM (9/22/2008)
I agree, the wing in the above photo looks absolutely ridiculous.

And then it's really funny when you look at a post of some European car with eccentric styling and everyone says "why can't they sell that here?"
Anything deviating from the exact design of the car in original form is "rice". White or silver paint only, and it has to be automatic.

I'm an Aftermarket junkie. I'm going for the optional grille, diffuser, 21 Inch Painted Wheels, the Airbox, orange interior trim, cold air intake, ground effects and subwoofer................. I just hope they're available on the Convertible.
