VIDEO: Fast and Furious 4 trailer debuts

Could it be? Could the fourth installment of The Fast and the Furious be... as good (we use that word loosely) as the first movie? Perhaps even good enough to make us forget the installments that followed, both of which tried to shoot poison darts through our eyes and into our brains? Too early to make predictions, but for now we can certainly enjoy the trailer, which is high on action and light on dialogue -- just like we like our action films. And unlike some other action trailers, the stunts will get your blood going but don't require you to believe that Jason Statham should be shooting laser beams out of his eyes. Jordana Brewster's hot, Michelle Rodriguez is hot too in a "not really butch but still kick your ass" kinda way, too though. But still, Dollicia Bryan. XXL magazine spread. Google it.

IT HAS BEGUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to see all the idiots in their rotted out, but somehow "tricked out" Geo Prizms around here racing (if a Prizm can be "raced") up and down the street outside my house. The only difference is, they've got those super huge park benches on their trunks, but what you THINK is an obnoxiously loud fart can turns out to be no muffler at all.
Sadly, my dumbass will probably be in the theatre right there with them, because...well, quite frankly, it IS a FnF movie and regardless of how crappy they are or how ridiculous they are, I find myself compelled to watch.
And that trailer looked like it was shot by the Knightrider crew.

I really wish someone would do a car movie about imports/tuners without it being chock full of aftermarket garbage. Something serious. Kinda like Initial D, but shorter, more daring, and sexier. It really pisses me off when the car stars of the movie are all brand new vehicles. And yeah, this one had some older vehicles, which is good.

I'm going to have to see a different trailer or two before I get that interested. That opening sequence of the "land train" just looks awful. I hope there's a lot more going on there or something.
The rest of it? I have absolutely no idea what is going on... so I don't know yet.

I live in the Dominican Republic and not only is there not a highway similar to that here, there are no such things as these 'land trains'.

The $5000 budget Ford Movie should be far better than this crap of a movie.

Yeah, seems a bit out of place for a F&F movie, doesn't it? Oh well, I'm not complaining. Having a good car in those movies would be a good switch. Hopefully it doesn't fall victim to rice-ification.

that RS200 belongs to my girlfriend's dad. it's actually a kit car and not the production FoMoCo Killer B. it still houses the same cosworth bdt-e as the production models but just as an MR set-up and not all wheel drive like the pure breeds; that's not to say the thing won't peel the skin off your face. IIRC, it weighs approximately 2200lbs (tube chassis) and has between 450/500rwhp. it's fasterer and more furiouser than this movie will ever get :)
