Could it be? Could the fourth installment of The Fast and the Furious be... as good (we use that word loosely) as the first movie? Perhaps even good enough to make us forget the installments that followed, both of which tried to shoot poison darts through our eyes and into our brains? Too early to make predictions, but for now we can certainly enjoy the trailer, which is high on action and light on dialogue -- just like we like our action films. And unlike some other action trailers, the stunts will get your blood going but don't require you to believe that Jason Statham should be shooting laser beams out of his eyes. Follow the jump for the video and The Return of the Vin. Thanks for the tip, Brodiemash!

Man, why do they ALWAYS have to tear up the nice muscle cars?!?

The Dodge Charger, the Dodge Challenger, the Yenko Camaro, and now a Buick Grand National?!? When will the massacre ever end?

It is just a movie. The GNX's were mostly just Regals, a few GN's. The backwards car to run along side the tractor trailer was pretty cool.

Nissan didn't pay any money to get cars in the movie. There is an R34 GT-R in the movie. The Mines R35 GT-R is a background car in one scene.

Oh wow that was bad. I'll go and watch the Transporter 3 trailer three times over now to undo what I've just seen. And just think, FF probably has more budget than Transporter. Yet it doesnt show.

I will admit something that I find embarssing...I love The Fast and the Furious. Easily my favoirte movie of all time. Not because it is a good movie, but because the Eclipse has 7 gears, because Jessie is SO SCARED!, because I also don't like crust on my tuna, because I got a wolf pack, it's Johnny Tran and he's coming your way REALLY fast...I can spend the entire day at work quoting the entire movie from start to finish. That is why I love it, because it is so damn stupid, just one of those things I will never understand.

I will admit that if I see Ja Rule in this movie, I might want to get up and leave the theater no matter how good or how bad it is. He is worthless in every sense of the word. The same goes for Tyrese...

at least it looks better than the last three. im in to see the girls. and why did they had to destroy a GN they should've destroyed a geo metro or a civic or something like that instead.

Best guess is that a clone would've saved the company some monetary costs.

I'm going to have to see a different trailer or two before I get that interested. That opening sequence of the "land train" just looks awful. I hope there's a lot more going on there or something.

The rest of it? I have absolutely no idea what is going on... so I don't know yet.

Nah, they blew all the welds on their intake manifolds, so they had to cut back.

The $5000 budget Ford Movie should be far better than this crap of a movie.

Remember not so long ago that Vin Diesel wanted to be treated as a serious actor? What a schmuck.

Great, who the #$&^ paired a Ford RS200 with a Toyota AE86?! (it's about 1:48 minutes into the vid BTW).

Also, we now know how the GNX managed to sustain major side impact damage seen in another article.
