Spend enough time roaming the streets of Rome and you're likely to encounter a fair share of people who fancy themselves more Catholic than the Pope. No wonder, then, that the Italians have now tried to out-Rolls-Royce Rolls-Royce, presenting a one-off drop-top Drophead that endeavors to embody an even greater presence than the Phantom cabrio itself.

The Pininfarina Hyperion was unveiled just this past weekend at Pebble Beach, and our man Drew was on hand to bring you the best shots of the one-off coachbuilt special from the show stand as it was unveiled and from the fairway where it was displayed in all its glory. But just in case you didn't get enough, Pininfarina has released ten more high-res shots of its one-off Roller for your viewing pleasure. Click on the top gallery to view the new factory shots, and on the two galleries after the jump to see the Hyperion in Monterey.

Well, the headlights are certainly better than those squinty-eyed things they have now. Also, the strakes along the side look much more native than the double parabolas that are on RR's now.

Am I the only who thinks Chris Bangle is being ripped off again? The sides look like the came off a Z4. Ian, it does have the butt of a 430.

Looks the a refined modern evolution of Jay Leno's Tank Car.

A moderately attractive automobile has been turned into a comic book illustration brought to life.

One ugly car. Looks like an RR mated a Crossfire.

it surprises me there are so many negative commments regarding this car, i think it's brilliant, quite possibly the best looking Rolls Royce ever made, i'd love to own something as spectacular looking as that. Well done to the gang at Pininfarina

I could see a Geely logo on this car... But not the Rolls Royce Logo.

i really don't like this car, i would just rather prefer the phantom drop head, especially after that top gear episode, imo
