VIDEO: How to do a U-Turn, Dubai style

Click above to view video after the jump
Just in time for the Olympics, we have this entrant from Dubai who apparently didn't make the team for the U-turn competition was left at home to practice his talent in the streets. In diving across four lanes of traffic from a dedicated right turn lane, he gets points for elements of surprise, style, distance, grace, and follow through. We give him and his Ferrari F430 a 9.3. Follow the jump to see the video. And can anyone tell us, do they even have traffic police in Dubai? Thanks for the tip, J.D.!
Correction: We've been told from a number of readers that the location of the video above is in fact not Dubai, but Saudi Arabia.

Great way to crash your couple hundred thousand dollar exotic. I guess they have more oil than brains there.

I should add that I thought it was cool. But not on a public road like that.

I agree with both comments. I would have beat the guy for being so stupid and irresponsable, and then said "that was cool."

If they crash this ferrari they can buy 10 more.

Dubai's oil reserves will be gone by 2016 - some say 2012, which is the reason the city is building tourist attractions like crazy. I was just there; Ferraris like this are quite common; a gallon of gas is cheap, and traffic is worse than London, especially on/around Sheikh Zayed Road. And this guy's driving is actually pretty skilled - imagine for every one of these cars there are 100 others who have no skills. Just do a YouTube search for 'race' and 'Dubai.' The city and outskirts also get this weird dense fog, that hugs the road and creates massive pileups. Sounds awesome, right?

Looked pretty controlled to me. Just because most Ferraris are owned by rich idiots who can not drive, I have a feeling the driver of THAT Ferrari can handle that car.

They do have traffic police in Dubai, but if you can afford to buy a Ferrari, then you are basically above the law because 1) you are a citizen of UAE and 2) your dad probably knows the Sheikh and his sons and other members of the ruling family.

ROFL...that would've been absolutely retarded in any car other than a Lambo or Ferrari. But because it was an F430, that was automatically cool. lol
