AC Schnitzer reveals aero package for BMW X6

In case the BMW X6 just doesn't look "the business" enough for your liking, AC Schnitzer has revealed a new aero package for BMW's controversial segment-buster. Hot on the heels of the X6 5.0iS spy shots we brought you today, Schnitzer's package is mostly cosmetic. It consists of a new front bumper with integrated diagonal vents and fog lights, a new rear bumper with diffuser and integrated tailpipe enclosure, and a set of 22" Type VII modular rims. The tuning house is also offering a set of new springs developed on the 'Ring, and a three-spoke steering wheel. The end result, of course, is a matter of taste, but with nothing more than a new engine control unit offered for the diesel models, we wish we had some engine mods to report on. Check out the show in the gallery below.

That vehicle is so awesome looking...in both stock and modified trims.
We can all debate the purpose of this vehicle when there is the X5, but this vehicle is flat out sexy. I've seen a lot of them on the road (sotck ofcourse) and they draw lots of attention.
It's just one of those vehicles that has no purpose other than to flaunt what you got.
Now if it only came in a manual transmission..........

Flaunt what? I would be embarrassed to be seen in that thing and there is no way I'd ever admit spending money on one...
Big, ugly SUVs are hardly anything new. Dropping lots of money on something expensive isn't to be mistaken for actually having taste.
But yeah for the ad-on parts, just what this thing needs: more weight. LOL...

So its like a fat 4x4-ish 3 series? Why not just get a 3 series?

Its almost 911esque in profile, and would've made a better looking truck than the Cayenne.
Too bad its a truck tho, a fastback 3 or 5 series along these lines would be hawt.

These things are HUGE. Not a single thing "coupe" about them, yet BMW calls it a Sport Activity Coupe.
The body kit does nothing to help whatsoever.
FAIL, FAIL, FAIL.
The only thing that doesn't fail, is the engine.

I've seen a few of these things and wonder why anyone buys such a vehicle.
The X6 is too small inside to be a serious SUV, and bigger and heavier than a more useful 5-door hatchback or sedan. It looks a bit like BMW's Aztec;-).

It's called a 5-Series.

if your going for looks, this car is begging for bigger rims and a lower drop.
However, i do understand that ACS goes for a bit of performance as well.
