This much we know. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen will have some sort of Corvette concept portraying one of the Autobots (well, we assume it's an Autobot). We also now know that there are at least two movie cars, as you can see in the shot above. Do we officially know that these are Corvettes of some sort? No, but the fender shapes, split rear window, and the port aft of the front wheel are familial styling cues that seal the deal. We're dying to know if this is just a movie creation or a concept that's in the pipeline to be revealed publicly at some future time. And if this forecasts what we should expect in terms of a C7, well, we're okay with that, too.

Also snagged in this photo set: the Chevy Beat and Trax, a military-style dune buggy, a pair of Can-Am Spyders, Optimus Prime, and Ratchet. Thanks, Andrew!

Maybe its Jazz if they revive him or something, or perhaps Sunstreaker who was a Countach originally, but...

Since the 80's, Corvettes, styling-wise, have been a bit on the bland side.

Granted, this is a styling exercise/concept - but if GM can produce a version close to this, then kudos to GM.

      Awesome.

Those are gigantic wheel arches. It looks a bit like its diecast plastic, but I like it other than those wheel arches.

where are the taillights? they were the coolest design feature on the corvette. big. round.
They can put the classic tail lamps on the rear as pods, ala Ferrari Enzo. Can you see it? I can!

I think its gonna be the new megatron. It looks evil enough.

If that really is what the C7 will look like then it's a vast improvement.

Corvettes have basically evolved the look of the 1980s C4 and it's stale. The car needs and deserves some heritage throwback styling.

Agreed. They lost the cool sharp edges during the 80s and everything has gotten more rounded off since then. The stingrays had that look like they'd slice through air, the current ones don't have that. This concept does.

        Make it!

Honestly, I loked right past the Vette to the Beat. I think GM is causing an uproar for PR purposes. i bet they release the Beat here.
