Raging bulls beware: Novitec unleashes 717-hp F430 Scuderia

Is it wrong to mess with perfection? We don't know if we would dare to change even a single nut or bolt on the F430 Scuderia if we happened to have one in the garage, but Novitec Rosso seems to have no problem with it. Granted, they have plenty of experience laying their hands on the F430; in addition to their standard version, they've also built RACE, TuNero, and Evoluzione variations. For the Scuderia they've added their twin-supercharger package good for 717 horsepower and a top speed of just over 215 mph. Considering the standard F430 Scuderia can lap Ferrari's Fiorano test track faster than the Enzo, we'd imagine this car would be insanely quick.

Wow. Inordinate amounts of power. I wonder how well it puts all of it to the ground. Also, the exterior treatment doesn't exactly suit my taste. Stock, please.

Also, look at the date/time when the article was posted compared to when my comments were posted. A little bit of time manipulation for autoblog eh?

As JC pointed out the enzo beat this thing around their own track. I think Ferrari is just saying it because they have been getting hammered these days by cars that cost 50% less.

There's a difference in the constant twistie fiorano track and the top gear track which has allot more straights.

I'm not a fan of the color, but i think the body kit is actually decent on this one. But I too wonder how well it can lay all that xtra power to the ground.
But I agree with autoblog, the Scuderia should be left ALONE!

That looks really badass. Novitec seems to tune Ferraris just right.

No, I meant in terms of looks. They do a great job with body kits and wheels. Hence why i said "That looks really badass"

this is how they get the power to the pavement....
Rear tires - 345/25 R20 Pirelli P-Zero Rosso
should do the trick

Considering they're making more power, more power = more heat. Also, since there are two superchargers on there, it's reasonable to think they need two intercoolers.
Hence, the larger air extractors at the rear of the front bumper and the larger air scoops in front of the rear wheels. Just guessing of course :)

If you look up novitec f430 on youtube you can find a video of the guy that owns the company drag racing these against the enzo and it gets the power to the ground pretty nicely actually.

A Ferrari is never a value-driven purchase, so don't even go there.
