You are one of those lucky souls who happens to own a Porsche Carrera GT. You love it: the way it looks, the way it sounds, the way it drives. So you're sitting in your garage, staring at your CGT, wondering what it would take to get a few buddies together who also happen to have one of these Porsche supercars. A phone call here, an email there and before you know it you have 20 CGTs signed up for a nice drive along PCH in Orange County, California. Sounds like some kind of automotive wet dream, but it actually happened.
This was the work of our old pal, Manny K., who we last saw in Vegas during the Koenigsegg CCX launch. This guy seems to know just about everybody and pops up wherever we usually want to be. While we couldn't make it personally this time, our buddies over at SpeedAndMotion.com were there with still cameras and video equipment to capture the day. We have a video posted after the jump that will make your spine tingle. The sight of 14 CGTs (a few dropped out) in motion is amazing, but the sound is what will really get your blood pumping. The best sounding street car in modern history equals music to the ears. And those who have had the pleasure to hear a GT in person know that it sounds a lot like a Formula 1 car, so this pack of them comes pretty close to the magic you'd experience at a GP. I love CGTs. Few weeks ago I was behind the black CGT with bronze color rims for an hour on the carpool lane heading up the 405 from orange county to west la in my 2008 VW R32.
Even my girlfriend, who's not into cars, was impressed by the sound and look of the CGT.

Funny thing is the only time I've seen a CGT on the street was in Orange county. It was orange and it was glorious. I guess orange county is the place to be when your have super exotic cars. The streets there are usually nicely paved.

The only place I've seen a CGT on the street was in WA state where I live- I was heading home from a golf tourney, driving my Porsche 944, and this black car comes up behind me when we were north of Snoqualmie, still south of Carnation. Anyone who knows the area would know that this is incredibly unlikely, it's sort of between the middle of no where and hick town, and this thing just pulled up behind me. Unbelievable. I got plenty of pics, haha, but not many are good because of the whole "I was driving" thing, lol. Put my 944 to shame, though! It was pitiful, haha.

Wonder how they managed to get a police escort...and I wonder how the cops got picked, you KNOW they were fighting for that assignment...
