Let's compare apples to apples, people.

If a 200 hp GTI 2.0T costs £20,825, doesn't a 122 hp Scirocco TSI sound like a great bargain for a couple hundred less pounds?
I expect the Scirocco 2.0T will be at least £25,000. Wonderful deal right--a less practical GTI for more money! This sounds familiar...Audi TT 2.0T, anyone?
