Something wicked, and white, and silver, and grey, and covered in protective tape, this way comes. In fact, it is already here: a lot full of Nissan GT-Rs in Jacksonville, Florida. Amassed like the automatons in I, Robot, all of them await their chance to embarrass cars costing nearly twice as much on U.S. soil. And a few will probably end up in accidents, ditches and tire walls as well, sadly. Click the link to visit the forum and check out more photos of what's in store for U.S. roads and garage mahals. Thanks for the tip, Jeff!

That is a thing of Beauty-almost like the lot of Challengers.
Franz @ Jun 14th 2008 2:56PM
Now that's what I call a beautiful sight.
Don @ Jun 15th 2008 9:53AM
That pretty much conveys my thoughts, too. 'Vette owners, prepare to be made a laughing stock!
Androu @ Jun 14th 2008 1:50PM
That is the most beautiful thing ive ever seen.I love how it cost as much as the z06 and actually wont depreciate but will appreciate and the gas is a whole lot better than the z06.Maybe its just me but ill take the GT-R anyday over the Z06. Im really not a muscle car guy im mostly into imports. But THIS CAR IS GODZILLA.Best bang for buck and so damn sexy.

That's some good trolling there.
Rawker @ Jun 14th 2008 8:46PM
So by best bang for the buck, do you mean how I would need to spend 100k after dealer markup... or how i still would probably not be able to find one available.
Compare that to how I could go down to my local chevy dealer and get a z06 for 70ish today if I wanted to.

About 70 cars at the port in LA - Long Beach.
spots @ Jun 14th 2008 1:58PM
The body shop at the port processor in Jacksonville repairs probably 100 damaged new cars a week- I wonder how many of them will be GT-Rs?
BigMcLargeHuge @ Jun 14th 2008 2:43PM
Hopefully they took extra special care unloading this lot.
Jay Cannaday @ Jun 14th 2008 2:46PM
The ILA never takes care with any of the cars they unload- saw one roll a Miata one time some years ago- walked away and nothing more was ever said. Groan.
dpb! @ Jun 14th 2008 2:05PM
The forum shows that it isn't longbeach, but Japan!

I just took pictures yesterday in Long Beach. Would you like me to go back there, and put my face in the pictures ?
Benfolio @ Jun 14th 2008 6:38PM
That's some sexy nail polish you're sporting there.
Sean Morris @ Jun 14th 2008 8:33PM

Very nice to finally see that many GT-Rs hitting our shores, I can't wait to see them show up on the roads and tracks.
