Autoblog Podcast #97
Just in time for the weekend, we bring you episode #97 of the Autoblog Podcast. Our cast of characters rotates once again, with Jeremy Korzeniewski joining Chris and Sam to discuss such wide and varied interests as motorcycles, high performance Cadillacs and hybrids. The podcast was held up by some behind the scenes technical issues, and there's still a slight issue with Jeremy's feed, so don't be alarmed when you hear a glitch or two. We've now made it to four solid weeks of podcast action for everyone; thanks for listening, and tune in next week! SUBSCRIBE to the Autoblog Podcast in iTunes

Love the podcast guys!
Oh, and Caddy DID have the 2.8 V6 as a base option in the early CTS. 210 HP and manual transmission. It lingered on mostly in Canada apparently. Performance was... well... but surprisingly reliable and fuel efficient.

At the end of your podcast, you mention the 3.5 V6 from Chrysler paired with the 4speed. The 300's/Magnums/Chargers did come with the 5speed unit at one point, but now only avail when you order AWD.
This was done for cost and reliability. The 5speed is kept for the HEMI engines only because it can handle the power - but is still prone to leaks. The 4speed is actually the more reliable of the two units right now.
I have the 5sp ATX in my Magnum and I check it frequently for leaks.

I love this website and the podcast. I do, however, get very distracted by the amount of times these guys say "ya know".
Ya know what I mean?
