Subaru WRC2008 takes second in debut at Acropolis rally
Sebastian Loeb and Citroen had a comfortable win at the Acropolis Rally in Greece this past weekend, but much of the attention was paid to the race debut of the Subaru WRC2008. With Petter Solberg behind the wheel, the new Subie took ten top-five stage times the first two days and captured second place overall. The result was Solberg's first points since February and his first podium finish since last year's Acropolis Rally. The problem-free weekend and the fast pace were encouraging for the Subaru team, who see the new race car as a turning point. "This is it, we're coming back!" Solberg declared after the race. The next rally in Turkey will determine whether the initial success of the car was a fluke or for real. For now, check out the gallery below of the WRC2008 sliding its way to a second place finish.

Curious as to what torrents you use. Could you list or link them?

Autoblog, you guys can either a) put in a Spoiler Warning or b) start losing readership due to people not wanting to find out race results.
I already avoid you guys on F1 weekends. I'm sure I'm not the only person out there.

Uh, I think it's fair that a car blog can post race results after a race happened. If a car blog begins to post results *before* the race has happened, then it would be worth taking interest in.
why not the LS2LS7? 7:54PM (6/02/2008)
The chick in the Crying Game is a man!!!
Okay, actually, I'm as pissed as the next guy, but I just thought a little levity was needed.
It's kinda tough to say how long autoblog should wait when the WRC doesn't air in the US at all, it's not just like they need to wait for SPEED to air it.

Autoblog doesn't even need to wait a certain amount of time before posting the results. They just need not post the actual results in the title of the story.
I use an RSS reader to troll autoblog, if I saw "*SPOLIER ALERT* WRC Greece Results" I would just avoid the story and not click it on it until AFTER I watched it.
Boo autoblog, other websites already post spoilers.

Maybe the lot of you should get a better torrent client. We've had all three days for quite a while.

On a related note, will we ever get WRC in the US on the tv? Do any of you torrent people know if anything is in the works? While I am at it, some HD F1 would be good too.

How about giving the Autoblog guys a "thank you" now and then?
Sure, spoilers suck and I imagine steps will be taken to avoid such faux pas in the future, but these guys do an incredible job keeping us entertained and informed throughout the day. On holidays and weekends even! And without us dropping a friggin' dime!
Give 'em a break.

It's lovely and all that Solberg finally got some damn points again, but Chris Atkinson (Solberg's team mate) has been getting points consistently all year in the old car and was

Sorry guys...
We've been doing our best to not post race results, but for some reason we didn't think about this one. It slipped by since the story wasn't about the winner and more about the successful debut of the new Subaru. Still, we definitely could have used a title without posting any results. Our bad...

What the hell? The rally was over in Europe on SUNDAY so technically, for people actually interested in the sport, you can READ about the results the very same day (instead of downloading torrents and such). Personally, I love the WRC and knew the results come Sunday...
Same with F1, a few days later, if you don't know the results of your favorite motorsport, shame on you.
