Why are they adding power and geratric colors in the same update? What are they trying to accomplish??

Nissan can increase the size of the engine without increasing consumption (stroked from 3.5 to 3.7) because of VVEL.
The 7 speed automatic, if appropriately geared [use a tall axle ratio], will really help out mileage.
Lets say 5th gear is 25mph/1K revs & the VQ37 makes 330hp@7000, a 175mph sedan for $35K?
