I'm still of the mind that hte Rabbit should be the lower end and this the upper end. Rabbit and maybe rabid GTI. Scirocco's base should be the gti engine and upgrade should be R32 (or better).
personally, that's how I think VW does away with the overlap they SAY they are concerned with. hurts me because I would be happy with a 170-180hp scirocco but from a business perspective I get it.
