Guys, lots of very respectable sports cars have slower times than the CTS-V. Even the Lotus Exige is 42 seconds slower. Historically, Lotus is biased more towards nimble, autocross type handling rather than power. Lotii will shine in any track with lots of fast transitions. I have seen CTS's (non-V) autocross and they lay down respectable times but look heavy going round the course while Lotus style cars make it look easy and graceful. Watch the CTS-V video on the 'ring and you see lots of open road where the CTS-V's 550hp will be banking loads of time against the Lotus.
