The top-of-the-line is seldom for value-conscious people. <br><br>And besides, if you move up to the 3-series/G35/CTS, you're going to be giving up a ton of features. This is just the base price of the highest model.<br><br>The highest-end Accord model bases at $28,050, and it comes with a moonroof, which will certainly be about $1K more on the Mazda. No Bluetooth or Xenons though, but it does get 19/29 (268HP), which is a big step up in mpg.<br><br>I don't get quite how Mazda can charge more for their car than Honda can. When you do that comparison, the Mazda has anywhere between a $2200 (the TL comes with std moonroof, the 6 is a $1800 option, otherwise, the difference is even greater) and $4000 price advantage. Some snooty people wont even go into a Mazda dealer because the name lacks exclusivity.  Heck, the only reason Lexus, Infinity, and Acura even exist is due to this tendency.
