Despite being a 'normal' Ford key, why would you want to de-value anything that has to do with the authenticity/original status of the car?

Seriously??? Did you even read the article?
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and assume that a $150k car comes with more than one fob. I'm gonna go out on another limb and assume that these valuable fobs you speak of are replaceable...
