Sorry to disappoint, dont watch F1, dont know anyone who does, never heard of him. Seems to be staying out of the limelight just fine. I assume I will now proceed to forget about this as well.
"Michael Schumacher has remained a high-profile celebrity, often despite his best attempts to stay out of the limelight. "

Let's hope they're not making this movie for you and the people you know then.
Perhaps it's for the millions who do watch Formula 1 though.
MajorGeek @ May 3rd 2008 10:11AM
Point was, thats not a high profile celebrity. Not even close.

It's not that popular in the States, but still, you have to be living under a rock if you don't know who Schumacher is.
You know, outside of the states, where no one knows what Nascar is, he's a household name.

Again, they said Hollywood movie, etc., so I just assumed he was in or from the states.
Either way, those leather pants do nothing to help his hetrosexualness. Is he gay?

As an F1 fan, I have to say MajorGeek hits the nail on the head.
Schumacher's favorite vacation destination is the US. Why? Because nobody knows who the heck he is. He's just a relatively anonymous German tourist.
F1 isn't big in America like it is in Europe or the rest of the world. I've been to 5 USGPs and can tell you at least half the crowd came from overseas for the cheap tickets.

If you are on Autoblog.. How the hell do you not know who he is?
And no, he is not gay, he has a family.
