If you've been repetitively clicking the Top Gear website and reading the Sunday Times while you wait for the new season of
Top Gear, your hour of deliverance is nearly at hand. Jeremy Clarkson (Jezza), Richard Hammond (Hamster), and James May (Captain Slow) will be returning June 15 with brand new episodes that will deliver more of the same-old same-old: automotive praise and abuse with English wit, absurd car challenges, and general hilarity. Ready, set, Tivo...
Thanks for the tip, MIke![Source:

Robby @ May 1st 2008 6:48PM
Same exact thing with me, minus the girlfriend part (lol). I desperately want to see the new episodes this year. I can't remember the last time I looked forward to every Monday.

And they put a handy link right to Final Gear ;-)
Zane @ May 1st 2008 6:52PM
45 days!?!? I can't wait that long! Come on TG, how about an interim crack episode like you had last year (the north pole anyone?)
Franz @ May 1st 2008 7:02PM
Or the gardening one: "Top Ground Gear Force". That was hilarious. They made such a mess of that guys yard, and as usual, Jeremy doing dumb shyt like using a shotgun to get rid of weeds and to prune trees. lol
Zane @ May 1st 2008 7:21PM
Hahaha.. yeah, I remember Jezza and Hamster destroying May's shed 3 farkin times. I was literally on the floor!
Hike15 @ May 1st 2008 7:26PM
and they r the reason American top gear wont work
these guys are just too funny and make the show what it is
without them it would be more like fifth gear which is more serious
Zane @ May 1st 2008 7:40PM
Very true. Gear (or whatever it will be called) is no match for Fifth Gear, let alone TG. At least FG has Tiff and two semi-comedians (Tom and Jonny). Adam Carolla looks like a Mexican douche compared to any of these.

Great, just about the time the withdrawal will have ended, I'll be addicted again. I think we need Top Gear Anonymous to help give us support during the off season. And by the way, is Clarkson eligible to run for President in the U.S.? I would vote for him. Hammond could be the V.P. I have no idea what May would be useful for though...maybe Dept. of Justice?

For a blast from the past go get yourself a Bit Torrent client, go to www.finalgear.com and follow the link to get the whole first season on Bit Torrent. Its quite quaint to watch the humble beginning of the show without James May.
Franz @ May 1st 2008 11:43PM
Yeah. I've actually watched them all, and watched a few of the better ones again when I was too bored. My absolute favorite challenge was the one where they all crossed the channel to France in Jeremy's "Nissank" (it replaced the retired "Toyboata") after Hamster's "Dampervan" and James' Triumph sank. I was rolling on the floor the whole time.

I saw these guys filming in London- I have some pics- they had a sweet old Mercedes 600 and Rolls Corniche, by the London Eye. I watched Clarkson make fun of some Polish guy- I was up next, but then he went for tea....
