Subaru sti weighs almost 3400 lbs. How does dropping 150 lbs. equal 3000? Maybe they're UK spec cars.
I'll take the Subaru just for the fun of rowing my own gears.

Well it says Japanese spec cars, that explains it.

The JDM Sti weighs a little over 3200lbs; the US-spec uses the EJ25 engine compared to the smaller EJ20 in the JDM Sti. The previous spec-C RA-R weighed around 3065lbs (1390kg)

Also, the pics are ripped from Holiday Auto, which is a Japanese magazine, and its not from Autoexpress; the license plate that has the magazine's name is a dead give away. Its probably a artists rendering in the case of the spec-C.
