The best thing that happen? Yes, Ford never understood the brands. Management structure intact? Wrong! Two problems here: 1-Leftover Ford "boys" that FoMoCo management was too happy to transfer out of the mothership to PAG to get rid of them under the guise of promotion. Those ex-Ford guys are desperately trying to get back into Ford only to find out that Ford does not want them back. These are now part of JLR (often top) Management and should never have been in the first place. They only got the job because they were originally from Ford and because Ford wanted them out of the core business.
2- Brain drain, most of the guys/gals that can find a better paying job have/are, done/doing, so. Left are the true believers, tied to a pension, or too tired to care.
First problem that Tata will have is NOT cash but people.
