Frankly speaking, this looks like a tuner-designed body kit on the top of another car rather than a good design. Don't know whether this will beat the speed record. On one hand, you'd think they'd have a pretty good idea of how it will perform. On the other, even if they don't really expect it to beat the SSC in top speed, any press is good press.

It seems to have about half the power of the SSC (and Veyron).
