Still on a scale of how much I love these cars the previous gen body was a 10/10 and the current 08 model is about 3/10. I will say that we have been seeing pics of both cars for about the same time and the STi has been available for a while now. So I thought that the Challenger should be too.

Both, frankly are old news. But the Challenger is older news since it is - in appearance - a copy of what was around when I was a kid. That would make it some 40 years old...and in need of a refresh.

At least for the Subaru - like many "Bangle-esque" designs - it looks much better in 3 dimensions than in 2. And for those of you who are thinking: "But wait until you really see the Challenger." I did, 40 years ago.

With cars there are lookers and there are "goers." You buy a Subaru because they are goers that drive as well as cars costing $10k more. And they spend far less time in the shop to boot. The Legacy sedan is not at all bad to look at though - particularly in Spec. B form.

The SVX was indeed a beautiful car (I had 2 of those).
